Filedrop – Pair and Share for Android
It's really useful, especially for sharing a file with a pc that doesn't have Bluetooth. It would be great if I could use another file manager (or any app in general) to send files from phone though. The integrated one is lacking features especially when trying to send a photo
This is fast and robust over shaky networks. But the Android app doesn't let me select a different download directory. (i.e. on the SD card) If it did, it would be THE go to app for big file transfers on Android
Very bad interface. Very hard to select the files before sending.. no proper preview.. no shortcut in the share option in my gallery.. one if the worst sharring apps
i am a daily uset of this app but now why is the new update causing the app to crash. it doesn't even open anf freezes. please fix it asap.
Was using SHAREit to transfer from my pc to phone or vice versa. It randomly connects and so complex. File drop is the easiest and most convenient app for file transfers btn phone and pc.
Please add auto-accept as I'm tired of accepting filed from my PC to phone
Does nothing and tells you nothing. If I need to run another app on my pc as well...um, it's faster to just plug in a cable. What's the point of this?
It looks cute.. but you guys need to fix the user interface.. it gets cranky ...
I am attempting to use this as a work around for Mac Android File Transfer's 4GB size limit. Unfortunately this app doesn't read from the external SD card on the phone. (This is in Lollipop). The UI is pretty, and good for transferring a few photos, but isn't so good for the needs of a power user.
Just OK. Sometimes works, and sometimes crashes. Tried on Android phone, android tablet, Chromebook, and windows laptop. Can connect when it works (sporadically), but the transfer rate is so slow.
Mac to phone transfer is a simple drag and send affair but there is no easy way of picking which files to send from phone to mac, because not only does it not show up in the android share menu but also there is no file picker option inside the app. It just shows you a list of 10,11 recent files to pick from. I guess this is a limitation of iOS that they have carried forward to android.
Other apps should work as great as this one. If you transfer files between your devices as much as I do this is the only app you need. So simple, NOT. Now that I have used it and found that I can't find the transferred files to the phone from the PC, ain't so great. Cuz it looks like if you uninstall filedrop every thing goes with it and that sux.
First time I used this app it was to move 5 pics from htc to mac. Just fine... next I moved 100 images inlcuding 10 videos. The app misread the .mp4 and converted them to .jpg. wtf file drop they were memories of my family bonding not just videos...
but now it simply does not connect and the codes do not work. Both devices are connected on the same network etc. Bug report sent.Update: Tried it a few more times. Very inconsistent connection and response. Trying to drop files in one after another does not seem to work, seemed to result in incomplete transfer.

Nice app but the pictures don't show up in my gallery and no clue where they're saved. Also it's not easy to send files to PC
Mac. File transfer is working but file-folder hierarchy transfer does not work as expected. Tried to transfer a folder from the phone, the files inside the folders are transferred to the download folder on the Mac with empty subfolders. Amazing fast, easy for mass transfer than Bluetooth.
Please add auto-accept as I'm tired of accepting filed from my PC to phone
Doesn't work at all!!!! (I'm trying to do a file transfer from my Mac to moto G)
I still have not found as compact and quick file transfer app as this one. Sadly, looks like developers have stopped working on this app.

Fast, "cloud" free data transfers. Evey other app adds in too many features. This thing is perfect, even if the UI seems to not exactly mirror what the app is doing at the time.
cool, but you should add an option to add some devices as "trusted", so that you don't have to press "accept" every time. that would be really convenient.
I don't have Bluetooth on my PC, and this app works great as a Bluetooth replacement. I can transfer files from my PC to my phone and vice versa. It transfers files fast, too. I love this app; kudos to the developer.
Works like a charm.
What is this..why these kind of people enjoying wasting other time and data..Please don't download. These kinds of app is disgraced to playstore.
I was not able to connect My Samsung Galaxy Grand with my laptop using filedrop.. I can see code at both ends. codes are different and device is not connected. any one can help?
Just perfect, would appreciate if it would offer more speed . serves the purpose very well . So easy to use and lightweight.
This app is nearly perfect if it worked offline. Make it happen please!
Not a bad app. Very easy to use. Transfers pause when the phone goes to sleep/screen locks but other than that no complaints. Transfer speed wasn't great, but I don't know if that is the app's fault or my network. Speed was maxing out at 250kB/s
Thank you very much for this app! I love the wireless transfer. The only problem is, there are moments that it kinda mess up my Mi pad's screen. Not so much of deal since all I have to do is do a screen off. I hope you can fix that .
This app is simply amazing and very, very convenient. Especially when I'm having problems with connecting my phone to USB.
Love this app. One of the more reliable ones out there that does its job without any pompous nonsense. It's super simple, no ads and the connection between phone and laptop happens in seconds. Genuinely impressed...Keep up the good work Developers. Wish all app makers had your kinda approach. :)
The simplicity is very nice. I hope the transfer speed can be increased next time (tried the other app, it was much faster but has many limitations i don't like).
It would be better if you add the option to make FileDrop run in the background in Android, so you can share files without the need to run the app. Also, it would be better if you guys add a shortcut to add files via Right Click (ShellEx) on Windows or make a small transparent box on the bottom right corner of the screen so you can drag and drop files and transfer them to my phone. One more thing, It would be nice if you add an option where you can change the default location for received folder. Otherwise, the app is perfectly fine. Simple and Fast.
Sorry but you can't select where your files are being saved eg my sd card. Also it disconnects mid transfer no error message or anything. Very disappointing.
What can I even say? Convenient, practical, and expeditious.
It is paid app in app store.Plz Make it free in app store too and put an option to select download folder.
Background running capabilitie

Great, except I can't find the files I just transferred! This happened last time too, except now I can find those ones. I need to open Filedrop and click the files one by one to use them if I want to. I see it downloaded my previous transfer to a Download folder, but its not there. Where is it, and why can't my file manager find it but yet I can use it?
