MyInfinity Touch for Android
Been down for 2 weeks, the api is missing dns entries, and support is open 8-5pm, very convenient for people who have jobs... Still down, they blame my ubiquiti WiFi access point. Funny thing though, the Netgear, Linksys and Asus ap's I also tested don't work either but unless I pay carrier 200$ for a Linksys ap they won't help me.
Garbage stay away from the Infinity System . Carrier needs to buy a Honeywell coler touch screen and see a real thermostat in action. They just work and Infinity just doesn't. Carrier just say add this add this but no joy. Then they tell me to go to Best Buy and get another router. Poor product Poor service. DON'T GO NEAR INFINITY AND CARRIER.
The main interface is tiny for some reason.. it's like 50% the scale of my phone and therefore a little more difficult to use than it should be. But I guess it all works ok, so there's the most important thing.
Horrible app. This whole interface is overly complex and should be redesigned. I used to have a Nest and I wish I could have it back. I tell everyone who asks to avoid Carrier because of this horrible thermostat.
The app and thermostat are much better than the nest and Honeywell dumb terminal thermostats that I had before, I see where there have been some negative reviews about the Infinity thermostat and app..All I can say is them is, you just have to be smart enough to use it! My service technician setup the system to provide the best performance and comfort level for my home and walked through the thermostat features and setup with us so that we had a full understanding how the thermostat works, The app is great for monitoring the system while we're away. If a problem does pop up it let's us and our service company know and they can look at the system from the web and troubleshoot any issues and make some changes if needed and save them a trip and save us the cost of a service call..Good Job Carrier
Crap app. My son's 8th grade programming team could design something better.
Come on! New customer. This is so unimpressive compared to aftermarket stats. Cumbersome and unstable. Is the company president's 14 year old child programming it?
Doesn't work... Junk. 13K on my system. They got me good...
Better than before as it was too small of a display. But now only displays in landscape. It won't rotate to portrait.
Love this app. I'm able to adjust the temperature from anywhere.
If it works it's okay when it works. The proprietary thermostats have some nice features for 2014, but this is 2017 and they are far behind. First they have downtime which negates the usefulness internet connectivity. Second, they do not even have connectivity to IFTTT or Amazon Echo. This is 2017! How can you with good faith charge more than 2x than what your competitors charge for products with no downtime and better functionality?
Nice app and now that they fixed their server issue the app works 99% of the time. But come on devs the Menu, Done, and Back buttons at the bottom in each corner are so tiny getting them to work is almost impossible even on my note 4 and new HTC 10 phones even though they have large screens. I can't image how difficult they must be to use for people that have smaller screens like a Galaxy S series phone. Please fix and I'd say this is a 5 star app.
I have not had any problems with the login or connecting to servers. However, if you manually change the temperature the system will not return to the program even if the hold is turned off. If you select a schedule (i.e., Home) and tell it to run per schedule, the app will jump to an adjacent schedule regardless of the time for the schedule. For a control of an $11K system, I would expect more from Carrier. Carrier should look at the 3M Filtrate Wifi application get ideas for a better functioning app.
I can tell you after much aggravation ths app and the web app DO NOT update the furnaceair operation status properly. It shows temp accurately on thermostat and app and or web site. But if u are trying to see when you furnaceair is running such as operation load (how hard ur system is working) it is not showing correct info. Also be sure dns entries exist on your thermostat. The app does allow you to manage system well though. You can turn on off or adjust schedules without issue. Everything works good except load information.
Wow, I couldn't believe all the bad reviews this thermostat and app got on Amazon and the play store. Having to switch from my nest to this junk of an app/thermostat really hurts. The feels like it was programmed by a novice in the early 90s and just released as Carrier's cutting edge device. Stay out of the business of making thermostat and apps, because you have no idea how to make good ones. Open up your api to the likes of nest and others who know what they are doing.
Same exact app the thermostat uses, but it never should have been reused. Every aspect of the design is obnoxious. Carrier simply doesn't care because they locked down the api and you have no choice but to use their garbage. I miss my Nest every day.
The basic functions the app are ok and is stable, but it is lacking in several ways. The display is not scalable the buttons are way too small and as far as I can tell you can't control the main unit with Alexa or similar other whole house management systems
It used to work well but since they updated the app for my mobile phone, and now i can't log in because the password needs at least one upper case letter, and now the log in has no upper case button for the password, another fine jobs by Carrier. Keep hiring the drop outs for programming. FYI I'm a heating contractor and not impressed with my carrier unit and all the lies they told me on how quiet the are. If you call a 747 jet landing in your backyard quiet. So I am turning my customers away from carrier
I'm getting old and my eyesight is failing the icons and numbers are way too small. Other than that it works just as the wall mounted display works.
Nice app but it appears the display size was meant to work correctly on iPhone but not on Android phones. Display is too small for viewing in my Note4. Also, some items like DST and time settings should be automatic given the app has wifi connectivity.
I switched from a Nest thermostat to the infinity touch when I upgraded my system. Compared to the Nest app, this app sucks. Can we at least use the entire screen so us easier to see? Carrier really needs to invest some resources in redesigning this app.
This is not really an app... Someone took the web interface and put it on a phone which should never be done. You cannot read anything as it is to small. Why is someone not creating an appropriate app for a phone?
The app screen is the same as the thermostat, which is a plus. With that being said, the programming isn't intuitive, the look is dated, and it doesn't integrate with other apps or IFTTT. Carrier has fallen way behind on thermostat technology.
as others have mentioned the GUI on my phone is not great. Need reading glasses and careful touches just to use it.
WiFi features doesn't work when I tell it tho work! So disappointed!
CANNOT REAL TINY FONT (not zoom able, portrait mode uses half the screen size and rest is background). Wish I could have kept my Honeywell WiFi thermostat or nest. Also I have TWO carrier infinity SYSTEMS in my house (different areas, we could not do zones) . I cannot switch between both my systems now in android phone app after autologin. (Haven't explored thermostats for return from hold problems others noticed since last week's thermostat update downloaded). Please keep improving these controls. These thermostats cost more than my existing fully functional thermostats that installer took out when we elected two separate carrier infinity systems.
As others have said, still really bad despite some 'updates' (not sure what was done). Worse still a software update that I just loaded to my thermostat just screwed up my historic usage data (eg continuous fan zeroed) rendering my year to year, month to month comparisons useless. Ironically I think the mobile app just added the ability to see usage data but now the data itself have been made useless. Carrier needs to get with times. Maybe Trump should talk to Carrier! This is the only device in my house that I can't use IFTTT
Thermostat connected but not found on Carrier network. For an expensive product it looks like no one uses this feature based on the downloads. App locks my tablet to landscape mode. Very disappointing.
Seems to get confused when you manually change the temp and then go to schedule. Really glad I didn't spend too much money! <sarcasm
Updated 9/22/16 4 years and the SYSTXCCITW01 still has unresolved software bugs (ver 13) disconnects from carrier api server and locks up causing panel reset. No resets with ver 12 software and reported to carrier and hardware was changed out. AVOID CARRIER thermostat products. Should have bought the competition's product so I could use a nest instead of Carriers proprietary hardware. (furnace is a modulating valve so nest would lose some control) Seems to login and show data but don't rely on the energy tracking . We show 2 therms on the thermostat and this app shows 197 therms per day. Carrier has been really struggling with this product and does not seem to make much head way. Our is so energy efficient it has not used any, notta single kwh of electricity for the heating season or continuous fan. Even though we have had the fan run for 24 hours straight. Come on carrier get someone who knows how to program or accept some of the outside help...
Locks up on the entry screen. I can't even get to the main screen. Print is way too small. I am uninstalling this junk.
App works great! I'm able to control my home temperature, humidity and much more from anywhere. Had a WiFi software upgrade on the thermostat to support control by Alexa, can't wait to try it.
Needs update to allow full screen for newer, higher resolution phones. Miss the fullscreen!
No longer works consistently after thermostat received firmware update in early March. Please fix.
Downloaded it while trying to set up my mom's thermostat and uninstalled before I even logged in because it doesn't even have an option to create a log in
Sure it's not flawless but I've had no problems
This app was working good until the latest update on the thermostat now nothing works. Needs work.
Unreliable. Terrible design.
Alexa control thank you

I don't understand why everyone is complaining. Once you understand the logic the whole design is very good. And I love that it duplicates the thermostat. I have two homes with the system and like that I can see both in this app. Oh and I have Ubiquiti access points and it works fine. Just select WPA2 as I don't think autodetext gets it.
