Base 10 Numbers

Through the context of ants for an ant farm, students will explore big ideas such as EQUIVALENCE, PLACE VALUE PATTERNS, and UNITIZING in this educational app. This app will help students develop a solid meaning of the base-ten system, and serve as a basis for traditional addition and subtraction algorithms. This app was made by teachers for teachers, and will help 2nd graders to catch up with their peers. It is based on the Common Core and NCTM standards.
