2016 Adelaide Fringe

The app was incredibly slow to the point of unusable much of the time, and occasionally crashed when attempting to open show details. The constant battery drain was terrible also. Information in the app, when it displayed, was good, but the negatives outweighed the positives by far.

Clunky app, slow. Good example of an iPhone developer 'having' to write an android app. Sadely this was the opening line from 2015 app and 2016 is WORSE. Images not loading. Really really bad. Love the fringe but the app is not good at all.

I miss the app that used to let you organise what you wanted to see/do in advance rather than just what's on near you that day. Disappointed.

Every time I open the app I have to wait for it to load and searching is not much quicker. Search results for days other than today don't match the selected date. Terrible app

So hard to use

Love it!! Could find everything I wanted and gave me more ideas for shows go see. Really like the 'Near me Now' option, very handy for fringe lovers!

Dont waste your time. Its painfully slow to use and youll be annoyed very quickly. Yeah it looks nice but whats the point if it takes ages to do anything. Just use your browser!

App runs fine, works as described. Not noticed any major slowdowns on an aging Nexus 5. Interface looks nice

Last years Fringe app was so much better. This one works at a glacial pace and more difficult to navigate. Going to get a hard copy of the guide

Very slow, confusing interface

Took me a minute to load the app for the first time. The app wants the entire screen, the main screen is a disorganised grid of fringe shows flicking through at 10 frames a second (matter of fact the entire UI basically goes at this speed). The main menu is in the middle of all of the 1990's GIF-speed animations, is slow to respond to any button presses and all of the bookings just go through a web browser anyways (which actually responds like an app should). I'm sticking to your awesome website this year.

I don't really like Adelaide Fringe but this made it easier to enjoy because it is much easier to know when the things you want to see are on and if they are cancelled. It just makes getting around fringe so much easier and better

It's one of the coolest apps iv ever seen and it works just as well it definitely deserve a 5 star rating.

I love the modern and easy to use design. It's perfect for navigating and its always up to date. Absolutely perfect for me and all my Fringe plans. I strongly recommend for all the Fringe lovers out there.

I'm a big fan of the Adelaide Fringe and this app has everything I need to enjoy it to it's fullest potential.

Yeah this app might run a little slow but that's the only fault I can find with it. It's very easy to navigate so I don't know what the other commenters are talking about. Not 5 star rating (mainly due to s speed) but certainly not only 1 star rating.

Last year's app was far better much more user friendly and easier to navigate please change!!!

App is very slow to load and slow and difficult to navigate. When app is minimised the GPS is still constantly on! You need to exit out completely or your battery drains!

Navigation is atrocious. App is slow and unresponsive. No way to access favourites from the website. Search facility doesn't work. Shameful considering last year's app was great and this year's website works really well.

I used the fringe App for 2015 and found it great to search bookmark shows. This app is useless. It is very user unfriendly lags and doesn't let me scroll easily. The result is I have seen only 6 shows this year compared to 20 at this point last time. I liked the previous version so much more. This one is frustrating and not customer focussed. Please go back to the 2015 format. A huge fail sadly :(

I find it extremely difficult to navigate your previous ones were way better. Whenever I hit the browse all button or the genre button it opens up the search feature but I dont want to search cos I dont know who to search for hence why I want to browse. Pls go back to your previous concepts next year guys cos this one makes my head hurt :/

Slow to start and slow to respond on a high spec phone w/ fast internet connection.

Application is soo slow. It is not the Internet connection!

Great if you have a couple of hours to spare.. Stick to the Web version
