Spelling Bug: Hangman is a fun way to learn spelling and vocabulary words by playing learning games using any word list. Traditionally the most popular word game, this is a good vocabulary game and the premium version allows adding custom words and voice recordings.
Kids practice for their weekly spelling test by adding Custom Spelling words in the paid version and record the word. When the game is played, the recorded word is played aloud, used in a sentence if recorded that way and the word as often as the student requires. Children can word at their own pace and receive instant feedback from our fun animated tutors.

This is an excellent addition to any Learning to Read and Write program and showed outstanding results with English Second Language learners too. Cannot get past character name screen on Galaxy s7 edge. Keyboard won't pop up. Please fix. Looks like a cute game. (update) Works great now. Thanks (update 7/21) alphabet appears 1/2 off the screen when playing 2 player mode. Single player works as previously mentioned.

AVOID.Qwerty style keyboard makes spelling rough for emerging readers. Vague visual clues make game play impossible. Ad heavy even of $2.99 version.

Only good if you purchase the app. Otherwise they stop telling kids the word and remove the speaker so kids do not what word they are supposed to spell.

I can not modify the custom word list after you entered once. It is really frustrating experience. All I want is my son to be able to practice the word list that changes every week. However, this app does not allow to change. I try to change it and it goes back to the original format.

Horrible stupid game. Can click on a letter & it won't let you use it - crosses it out. But then that letter ends up being in the word! So frustrating for my child to try to play.

This is an amazing educational game. Helps my younger siblings learn and also helps they speed up their spelling abilities. I wish I had a game like this when I was younger would of totally helped. Overall I rate this app 5 stars and I would totally recommend it to others.

I bought the full version to add my child's spelling words in the "custom list" section. It's grayed out still AND their tech support submission form kicked back my request WITHOUT even submitting it. Now I have no tech support or refund!
