I can't locate the file location to import the file after it downloads from drop box.

I have the paid desktop app and works great for inputting info. I cannot get the android app to sync with dropbox or find a way to input files that are saved on my sd card. No way to get help for this either.

11/17 Update - I did finally get the program to sync with DropBox but then a couple of months ago I got an email from DB which basically says the developer is unresponsive and you won't be able to upload or sync anymore. I do really like the program, that's why I paid for it but it's a shame the owner seems to have lost interest in it. It's too bad they don't sell it to someone that would keep it current. I was a long time user of the free desktop program and decided I should pay the developer so I purchased the basic desktop version and app about 3 weeks ago. The app would freeze up and close whenever I tried to sync either through DropBox or a direct file transfer to my phone, then import. I reported it immediately to Alan (the developer) and he said that he is aware of the bug and is trying to track down the problem but it still doesn't work. So if you're thinking of buying the app to sync with your PC program I would advise you to wait until the problem is resolved. I love the PC program (5*****) but right now the app is worthless to me (0*).

Its hard to explain. Text form will sometimes not let me enter info or change info. Other times it will multiply words when I hit soace. Not sure what it is but niether my andriod app nor my computer app is working properly.

Just like desktop app. Only problem i had is that it would lock up when i tried to add a db that had lots of pics. Once i got rid of most of the pix, it ran slow at first. But seems ok now.

GUI Needs a major overhaul but I can Jeep track of my guns in my phone out tablet... definitely doesn't cut it for adding, editing,etc...

Must have press key twice, charged for two copies only downloaded once, no response from billing or customer service on Refund. Very bad customer service

Loaded on several devices... Will not add a photo from camera or gallery. Useless without that feature.

Won't sync with desktop from Android to Mac.

Not able to transfer the info from my computer to my cell or visa versa. I have tried EVERYTHING!

Company doesn't reply to emails now they have my money 3 weeks ago I contacted them to say I reinstalled it and the original serial number does not work but they have my money don't give them yours

Desktop app is great, the android one sucks. No back arrows, won't import, what good is it?

I bought my desktop copy through the CMP website on their endorsement. What a good decision! I found the mobile version and had to try it. With the addition of the ammo inventory I can have all of my collection and supplies info with me all the time. Helps when I'm at my LGS and can't remember how much ammo I have. I can also check the last price I paid to be sure I don't overpay. This app has a lot of great uses and I would recommend it highly! Dropbox sync does work!

I keep records and license/permit copies in a safe reliable package. However, mobile will not sync to desktop. Disappointing, great repository otherwise.

Can't sync with phone or pc through dropbox. Zif files won't load on pc, tablet or phone. I don't. Want to have to recreate the info three times.

Won't sync, won't work with win 10, developer doesn't respond. I have the paid version. Good thing I have paper backup

Awesome software, I looked and used the few firearm data bases there are. My Gun DB is by far the best.

Easy to install but painful to setup. Partially, that's due to my unfamiliarity with dropbox. Should be able to modify General & Stats display. For example, I'd like to see General: Manufactuer

Have to uninstall and reinstall every time I use it. Looking for support for 6 months. I have the full PAID version. ... could be the best but only fair to lousy!

Love the program but the app has problems. I cannot get my database to dl to my phone and I cannot locate 99% of the file folders that the app lists. I did manage to get it on my nook after hours of trying. See steve k's comments below. I have the same problem. The desktop program is awesome. I bought it when it was still in beta development.

Anyone who buys, sells, trades guns on a regular basis or not should use this! Great addition to the desktop version and with first class customer support!! Highly suggest this app!

The free version worked very well. Then I paid for the full version and now the desktop app takes forever (upwards of 3-5 minutes) to load (no other program on my computer does this) and then is extremely slow to respond to any input. Wrote the developer over two weeks ago and have not heard a word in response. The Android version will not display the .zifs file in vault nor anywhere else. I do not load sensitive info onto the cloud. DO NOT PURCHASE!!! NO SUPPORT from the DEVELOPER!!! Too bad I can't rate it in the negative or it would get a -10!!
