My only issues with the app are that the tone tutor is completely inaccessible (which strikes me as crazy in a tonal language), and the volume is very low in nearly every spoken segment. Add the tutor and err on the side of higher volume and it's 5* easily.

The app is really great practice for Chinese grammar structures. While the drill sentences were simple, they worked well to prepare for class. I did prefer the website over the app but that might just be personal preference.

Kind of expensive for an app that is still being worked on, but overall good material.

The app is helpful and has manydifferent scenarios Chinese language beginners can learn from. On the other hand there's a lot of glitches that need fixing. Also, sometimes the audio does not match what has been written. Good and helpful overall.

I wasn't able to use the app on my phone, but the materials that were provided on the website were my favorite tool used in throughout the course. CLIC is a user friendly way to learn Chinese, and the materials build gradually, helping to improve Chinese speaking and listening skills smoothly.

Good instruction, needs to add sections past the first one

The app is very useful in that it breaks down conversations you'll experience into parts. So its overall more useful as a student who doesn't always have time to sit down and study.

The content was presented well but only contained the first units worth of content.

The content of the different sections is great; however, all the content from the website is not on the app. Deserving of higher stars when the rest of the content is added.

Audio could use some improvements, but recent updates have been working on it. Simple and easy to understand in conjunction with other apps/books/learning materials.

The app was overall good. However, it would be helpful if there's also traditional characters for those who wish to view it aside from Simplified. Also for some reason I wasn't able to navigate easily on the app.
