You have to move really fast to get a wide stroke. If you move slow, you get a paper thin line.

Nibs too narrow and it's purchasing no not very good at all some people practise western calligraphy so broad nibs essential

A very bad app. Only one nib is available n its better to buy a pen and ink n write on a paper instead of writing in dis app..

It was very lame

I selected a pen like it said to. However, I got a brush pen NOT a flat ended dip pen. The way it writes is also incorrect, doesnt look like that unless you are low on ink in the brush. Verry bad app. I wouldn't get it, just buy a pen and ink and learn that way. That way you actually know what it should look like.

One free brush and it too several tries to open app and when used looked nothing like the nib selected

This isn't actually calligraphy, just a drawing app. I wanted an app to jot down calligraphy ideas or easily demonstrate to someone if there's no chisel tip writing utensil nearby, but this is not it! If you're a calligrapher, go elsewhere.

Thicker strokes are achieved by faster movement rather than leaning heavier . And ads are constantly pushed in your face even while you are working.

This app is not good. One size only on pens. You can see pixels! Horible. Plus no proper application to other apps, like s note or notepad.
