Pupil Meter for Android
Not working on Nexus 6.
The only way that was an accurate reading is if I was a toddler which I am not.
It has too many elements of error
Purchased this app to order glasses online. Followed the instructions to take a proper picture. My eyes are 30 cm apart? Let's try again. Zoom in to make assure precision. Oh that does nothing, how nice. Oh well, at least I just got it so I could get a refund. No? That's right folks. No refund for a broken app. Steer clear.
Unfortunately the image taken by the camera squishes the shot, rendering the app useless on HTC Sensation. Commend the purpose of the app though, but the free web cam version works a lot better.
Not very accurate. Kept freezing.
This app does NOT get your PD value correct ... I've tried multiple times, but it gave me the numbers from 61-63, which are incorrect! I know these values are incorrect because I went to an eye doctor which measured my values as 71! Absoloutly do NOT recommend this app, because when buying glasses you MUST have the PD value correct.
I appreciate the idea of this app. Today is like pulling teeth to get these measurements from any establishment that sell glasses. Online companies have no overhead so is far more economical. This app could be a great success but falls way short on accuracy. 9 measurements all averaged compared to an actual measurement by the doctor was 7mm off. Needs a lot of work. I suggest pulling it off play store completely.
Don't use, it's was very difficult to get an accurate reading. . . .Very very fiddly
I can't place the marker because I can't see where I am placing it.
Finally got it to work and when I went to get measured for new glasses they said it was right.Would have appreciated better directions.Didn't use a credit card just some points card for a store that no longer exists.Credit card seemed too iffy.
This confirmed a ruler measurement. Not sure about showing the back of the credit card....i.e. Showing the 3 digit pin off so used a nectar card. Make sure you hold the card straight and take the picture in landscape mode. Overall good app that works.
Great idea, works quickly on my HTC desire, needs to store photos in own folder for faster access, use with good lighting
On HTC Desire. Requires good lighting for the photo - especially if your eyes are darkly coloured. The card needs to be a colour that gives good contrast with it's magnetic strip. It's best if you have someone to take your picture, otherwise it can be very difficult to use. I have successfully purchased glasses online using the 'PD' measurement from this app.
gs3 - app distorts photos /stretches/squashes - 5 images 5 different measurements - shame nice idea but ultimatley no good
The app refuses to use any of the pictures I take.
Great idea, repeatability fail. Measurement is smaller as camera shot is closer.
The results are different every time. You can't believe it.
Need adobe air to run. Results are slightly different each time I've tried
Excellent for getting your pd when options fail to do this as they are frightened you'll buy a frame elsewhere.
Waste of money. Always rotates picture.
Love how easy it is to use... seriously worth it. My doctor didnt include my PD and it was a LAST SEC decision to buy it.
Got my glasses today and they fit perfect. I measured with the pd ruler that came with my glasses and the measurements matched. Worth the dollar for sure.
Worked perfectly, thanks!
Easy to use and worked well. :-)
Images taken with camera have incorrect aspect ratio. Only works in portrait mode. A tape measure was easier and more accurate.

Different reading with every picture, by a huge margin. I used the same card for several pictures & then switched to another card for several pictures & every measurement was hugely diffrent! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
