KATAKANA Training free for Android
It's a big off-center chart that doesn't respond to taps on the Galaxy Nexus, at least. Probably because it's an Adobe AIR Application.
the developer seems confused about what kana training involves, which is strange given the many free apps available to the public. the screen does not automatically resize, so expect the display to look akward if you have the wrong screen size (or a tablet!), and the display also needs to be scrolled as you cannot see all the kana at once. the drawing scratchpad fails to indicate stroke order, and proper order is very important for proper character creation, so another fail there. don't bother with this one as there are so many free apps that actually teach all the above, as well providing pronuncation examples and quizes to help you learn.
