近年來環保議題已引發全球重視環保紡織品(綠色材料、節能減廢或再回收使用之產品)，眾多國際品牌通路商如Wal-Mart、Marks & Spencer等紛紛以環保紡織品做為履行企業社會責任(CSR)之工具。

本計畫辦理環保紡織品相關資訊之蒐集研析，並於計畫建置網站及以電子報方式發佈資訊提供各界參考。並發行「台灣環保紡織品精選專刊」及多媒體電子書，專刊內容介紹台灣優質廠商及紡織業現況，並利用於國內外紡織專業展，積極推廣台灣環保紡織品。

此外，亦經常邀請國內外知名品牌專業人士辦理環保紡織品相關專題研討會，以提供業者更多豐富多元的業界新知，例如最新環保技術及驗證趨勢等，亦隨時提供我國紡織業者申請環保標章之諮詢服務。期望能透過各項工作項目，協助建立台灣紡織業者及買主間產銷合作夥伴關係，讓台灣成為全球品牌商心目中最值得信賴的環保紡織品採購來源。 In recent years, environmental issues have triggered the global importance of environmental protection textiles (green materials, energy waste reduction or recycling used products), distributor of many international brands, such as Wal-Mart, Marks & Spencer, etc. have an environmentally friendly textiles as corporate social responsibility ( CSR) of the tool.
