♦ C with my eyes - Autism Series is an ABA-based learning game designed to improve eye-contact skills in children with autism spectrum disorders. The app is developed by WebTeam Corporation.
Making and maintaining a steady eye contact often turns out to be a major challenge for children with special needs. C with my eyes. Autism Series is specifically built to address this issue. In the gameplay part of the app, there is a grid containing four images: three different objects plus a child looking at one of the images.
What the user needs to do is locate which object is being looked at by the child. The objects include cap, toothbrush, cup, spoon, ball, toy, schoolbag, pencil, shoes, among others. As soon as an activity starts, the user gets a prompt, “What is he/she looking at?”
In the app settings, the user can set time and select either sequential or random question types. The user can also set difficulty levels on a scale of A and B. There is also a training part that helps the user understand the basic concept of the learning game.
As with other apps for autism developed by WebTeam Corporation, C with my eyes ☺ Autism Series too is based on the ABA method of intervention delivery. Each correct response given by the user is rewarded with a positive reinforcement.
At the end of a particular session, the user can see the score and share it on Facebook/Twitter or rate it on a scale of 1 to 5.
