CheckOff Diet Tracker for Android
One suggestion, I noticed you have a ability to set half portions but no icons for them. I go around that by doubling my daily portions . So instead of three meat portions I set my limit for 6. Then I don't have to remember to carryover half portions. But it would be helpful to have half icons.
I like that it doesn't track calories, macros, etc. It's simple and good for those trying to get away from their own perfectionism and rigidity. The customization options it has are really all I need.
Overall, good app. Does what it says. Would be nice to be able to customize icons, add extra categories. Perhaps allow features that include portion sizes in relation to a serving.
What is the green heart looking icon for? I have no option to remove it.
Best App Ever! Before finding this I had downloaded over 10 apps trying to get to a program like this. It is easy and does not get caught up in calories, good vs. bad food. It is a positive way to track your daily input vs. using a paper meal plan.
No way to track if you went over your portions.
I liked it better when it automatically changed to the next day. Now it is more difficult to go to a new day.
This app is very simple. I check the green heart when I take my vitamins...which I sometimes forget. I would like to be able to rearrange the icons. Fruit and veggies icon look too much alike to me, but no big deal. Overall a great little app.

Very nice and simply to use. Would love to have the option to check half portions consumed
I wanted something simple to track my food group servings without having to meticulously log every food. This was perfect.
Great app so far. I do have one request however, it would be nice if we could edit categories. If I could edit categories it would be a 5!
It seemed to be just what I was looking for..but will not be able to use if there is no way to at least check off half portions (and if possible quarter portions). Hope you update this app would be great. It would definitely be 5 star then!!
The functionality is simple, which is what I wanted. But the date won't advance, so I have to keep clearing the same day over and over.
I wish I could add another group. The diet I'm following breaks the food group down. For example, 2 servings from the vitamin C group. I like that I can change the title, but being able to add another group would be very nice. Thanks!
I need to be able to track extra portions (you can't assume you will follow your plan with 100%) accuracy. This is a MUST. I need to be able to add half portions. This will be NICE TO HAVE. Other than that the app is great!
This would be a great simple app, but it is very sluggish.
I love the idea, it's easy to use but would love simple check boxes beside a category. It's visually over whelming..
Just what I was looking for
This is just the simplicity of a food tracking program I was looking for. I love how eaily I can see what I have left to meet my daily goal. I use this w a simple food/calorie tracking program(noom pro) so I can track my daily caloric intake. The combonation is perfect for keeping me on track! However, I do not like the fact that you can not edit the day before if u forgot to check something. What does the green heart represent?

....would love to be able to 1) change the icon (not just the name) of the group. 2) to separate the servings by meals and 3) check off half a serving (not add half a serving, I think you misunderstood your customers on that one) Anyhow, Those 3 additions would make it perfect!
This is a very simple app. All it really consists of is the ability to set the number of portions you are aiming for in a day. Then, you check them off. You can set half-portions in your goals. But, you can only check off full portions (or a 0.5 portion, if you set, for example, a 3.5 portion goal for Meats). You can also rename food groups, which is useful for certain plans. What I find puzzling is that this is a check-off system rather than a check-in system. If I go over on fats, I can't log it because I've already logged my allowances for the day. So, it's essentially crossing off what you are logging, rather than adding it up. It also requires Adobe Air to be installed. Mostly disappointing; but, perhaps useful for some people.
Wish there was a way to save the portions from day to day. And would live a way to check off .5 servings.

I have been searching for an app to track diabetic exchanges like this. Do yourself a favor and add "diabetic exchanges" or "exchange system" to your search descriptions to make this app easier to find. As far as I have seen, this is the ONLY Android app that tracks these categories. I would prefer check boxes next to each category instead of all the symbols, but this will work. Thank you!
I really want to use this app but it won't open on Nook HD or HD+. It says the app requires a newer version of Adobe AIR and gives me the option of updating it. When I try to update I get an error message that says my device has the newest version of Adobe AIR and I get kicked out of the Adobe AIR update screen and CheckOff Diet Tracker still won't open. Yours is a unique app and I'd really like to use it. Can you help? Thank you.
A few tweaks would make this a great app. The UI looks cluttered, too many rows of similar looking icons. Custom categories and partial servings would be nice as well. Finally, I sometimes have an extremely difficult time getting the app to register a tap to check off an item.
Works pretty well, but is very bare-bones. Wish I could add custom categories and start a new day at some time other than midnight.
It really helps me to control my intake. I looked up a balanced 1200 cal sort plan on Livestrong & programmed it on. I have a couple of suggestions to make it better. Have preprogrammed calorie options & fix the bug that makes you have to reprogram the # of portions peridically.
I like it. Works great for what it's supposed to do. I'd like to have the option to add more things to my daily list (like meds).
Love this app. I need it to make sure that I eat enough. My daily goal is to make sure that I eat at least one serving of each food group, so this app is perfect, and very easy & quick to use. I wish that I could edit/rename/add groups. I don't use cow milk, but I do use almond milk & soy. I must pretend that the milk group is dairy, and that my meat/nut group is mostly almond milk and that 1 serving is considerably more than what I use on my cereal. But I'm smart enough to keep that straight in my head.
This is the easiest app I have found to track portions on my specific diet. I would give it five stars but it is too easy to accidentally uncheck something you have already accounted for and loose track. Maybe by adding an option asking "are you sure you want to track these items" each time might help. A daily pop up option with adjustable reminder times would be nice also. Thanks!!
Would get two more stars if you could increase food amounts by half, other than that does the job.
Just what I was looking for. Easy, conforms to my nutritionist's recommendations. She gave me specific #'s of servings in a portions food plan and this allowed me to input the plan to easily keep track. The rows of food pictures are a bit scrunched and hard to see well. Simple check boxes arranged by category would be better.
Great app. Exactly what I've been looking for. Best alternative to all the calorie counting.
It does no work
Needs at least one custom category for meds or whatever. Otherwise exactly what I wanted.
Simple and customizable. Love it.

This app is exactly what I was looking for! It is easy to use because it simply tracks the number of servings of each food type I am targeting each day. Two seconds to log in a meal or snack, & I'm done. No searching for foods, scanning bar codes, or taking all that time inputting how much of each food I've eaten. As an added bonus, the customer service is fantastic. I had some trouble with the app when I first downloaded it, & they worked with me until it was working the way it should. Highly recommended!
