Sorprenentment, la producció de còmic a Palestina és molt escassa. Encara sorprèn més, si fos possible, tenint en compte l’èxit internacional d’obres com Cròniques de Jerusalem, de Guy Delisle o Palestina, de Joe Sacco. En aquest panorama destaca l’obra Zain II Ann, d’Amar Shomali publicada per Tamer Institute i el treball de Samir Harb. També cal destacar la revista Barem, una publicació de gran qualitat que tira endavant gràcies a un grup de joves de l’aïllada Franja de Gaza. Fins al moment, han aconseguit publicar dos números i busquen, mitjançant el crowdfounding, editar-ne un tercer. Surprisingly, the production of comics in Palestine is very low.
