About LIFX Cloud Control
LIFX' LAN API seems to struggle under certain conditions and becomes unreliable or doesn't work at all. Although the LIFX app may be unable to control the bulbs often they are still connected to the cloud and can be controlled via the HTTP API just fine. Because of this LIFX Cloud Control uses the HTTP API exclusively. This limits the functionality and adds a small lag but in return LIFX Cloud Control might still work when most other apps don't.
With this app you can select and change colors, whites, brightness and turn your bulb(s) on and off. The interface is very simple and ideal to control a small number of bulbs. It supports the control of groups of bulbs as well. The groups defined in the native LIFX app are used for this.
LIFX Cloud Control requires a LIFX remote access token to function which can be generated at https://cloud.lifx.com
Disclamer: This app doesn't collect, store or share any sensitive information beyond what's necessary for the functionality of the app. The LIFX remote access token can be revoked at cloud.lifx.com at any time, rendering any stored information of this app useless.
