Use to work great. Have purchased the Pro version on 3 devices and after they had the Andriod 6 Marshmellow upgrade, no longer works. Unable to see the SD card. Please fix or give a full refund times 3. Only purchased the full version 5 weeks ago and now can no longer use.
Very good video player, good audio but would be rated higher if it was able to support .wmv files and mp2 audio. It would be nice if mvideo made a codec pack like some other players do. I recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and video quality is just fine the sub/idx subtitles show very tiny and can not be enlarged. I think that this is a very good app but the problem with the subtitles definitely need to be addressed.
After upgrading my tablet to Android Marshmallow this player is unable to recognize an external SD micro card. This means it can longer play videos from the external card.
I have been using this app for a few years. I like the layout. Easy to use. I love the subtitle feature. I have tired many other video players, this is by far the best. I would suggest getting mvideoplayer pro to support the company. Well worth it
If you dont uninstall the free one first you'll waste a lot of time figuring this need out for yourself as the 2 versions appear on both the OPEN AS menu and the APPLICATION system settings menu as the same and then youll have to uninstall BOTH versions and the install Pro version all over again.
DO NOT BUY THIS This up hasn't been updated in years, and no longer works on Android 6. Don't waste your money on it
This app always worked. Like the pause by touching the screen.no other player has that
i like this video player but with the new version it doesend play iptv hd+ only hd with version 411 it played all i hope u wil fix it
I'm using this app on Samsung Galaxy S6 with the latest version of Android. The app hasn't been updated since December 2014, which is 2 years ago. The app full of serious bugs and considering such high price of $4, it's not acceptable. The developer, of course, didn't respond. Not worth the price. It's a cash grab.

This app is perfect if you have a video / movie collection and want to manage the content that you store on your tablet / phone. The built in detection works great and if it doesn't properly match your title, the settings enable you to easily change it. I am struggling to find a way to add more paths to search for content within the app without having to start over, but other than that, this is great and does exactly what it says it will do.

Please add "android.permission.WRITE_MEDIA_STORAGE" to support Read and Wright to external SD card and it will be a 5 star app thanks

Awesome app to watch videos on.

Midnightcaller
Best Video Player out there.
Couldn't be happier
It seems to incorporate the best in a media player and a movie/tv collection quite well. My only things I would add would be for movie tags to be made available for genre in the filter eg: comedy, action. And also for a more editable or detailed descriptions of the movies. I look forward to seeing great things added to an excellent app!
Love this App I first downloaded the free version and liked it so much I had to purchase the paid version to support it.
Awesome app to watch videos on.
I like this app, but it needs to play more video formats and codecs such as wmv dIvx mov ogv 3g2 and a few others etc, otherwise okay app.
Does everything I want it to and more. Perfect for your digital movie collection. Money well spent.
This is amazing. Give it a try.
It is the best smart device app. I know for videos.
Love it.
Love this player, Plz add look & feel option to preferences. Can't stand the white background prefer the neon or dark like old or free version. Paid version should allow user to change look or theme. Overall no complaints, deserves my 5 star rating.
Thid a great video player, i really don't know why people complain about so much? Anyways keep up the good work
So I thought I would use it for 15 min and then return. But after seeing how amazing it is. I am keeping this full version. However I would like the on screen info (battery, elapsed time, clock) to appear only when I pause or when it is locked and I tap the screen. Similar to how it was in the previous versions.
This is a great app. It scrapes the movie poster for movies so you get a very nice library for your movies instead of just a generated thumbnail (which for my many Disney movies end up all being the same). I am giving it four stars because the scrapper isn't 100% yet but it tagged my movie collection ~85% correct so still very useful.
The SGS3 player is superior. Act 1 player is better than this. This player has a long way to go. UI isn't attractive. Features aren't much to talk about. File system is clunky. Was once the best player around but has long since been superceeded
I bought this app with the hopes that its' different vs. other MKV players, that it supports audio as well but sadly it doesn't. Boo. Otherwise, the under interface was pretty good.
Still broken in 4.0+ /mnt/emmc AOSP directory for sd card videos won't play. Any of the same format from /mnt/sdcard plays fine. Please fix! (:
Please go back to the old interface, or at least offer it as an option, The Player is solid, but the earlier version was way more user friendly.
Dev deserves a lot of praise
Love the Metadata!
