CueBrain! learn spanish + more

This was a great app, but I guess not enough people used it. It won't load the times anymore, and I can't get it let me test any categories I haven't already tested.

I really enjoy this app. You really do get so much more than what you pay for it. I was very suprised to see how many different languages they offer and your never stuck with just one.

Really good app.

I purchased this program for my new HTC Flyer android tablet. This is an excellent program and a great idea. There are many cue card sets provided. In addition, I found that if you have your own cue cards or database, you can indeed import into CueBrain. I imported from Excel. The CueBrain files are actually text files formatted a certain way. Tech support is fantastic and will assist you. I highly recommend this program.

This program encourages only recognition, and not production. I should be able to switch from, lets say, Spanish->English to English->Spanish.

The best language programme by far. Great fun and I am learning faster than ever.

Not all languages are supported for speech.

Update: This does NOT require a network connection to work (in case anyone is concerned). And thanks to the developer for posting info on the changes.

Requires network connection to work. Useless on a train where the signal dies all of the time.

I'm studying for a Spanish CLEP test this summer and this app is perfect! Really helps you learn new words fast!

The app's great but I wish there was sound for more than just Spanish/English. Pronunciation is vital to learning any language.

At first I was sceptical that I was actually learning but thoroughly enjoyed it anyway. As I've moved through the cards it is clear my vocabulary has improved dramatically thanks to this app. Would recommend.

Would be nice if you could flip the study cards between kanji and hiragana in the Japanese study sessions though; that way we could learn to pronounce them as well as memorize the characters.

Really fantastic app but lacking ability to download an entire language with all cue cards. Add this well and its 5 stars.

Great app! However, word pronunciation does not always work. User interface not optimized for tablets and sometimes not very intuitive. Please fix and you get 5 stars!

Purchased for my Asus 10" tablet. Liked it, but found that, as it was designed for phones, the interface was a bit small for my clumsy fingers. Contacted the developer suggesting this potential improvement and he instantly replied with a beta version, that I tested, which has now been released. When you consider that I have spent upwards of £100 on text books for Spanish, German, French and Polish, the price of this app makes it incedible value. Tons of vocab for each language makes this a must have app!!

You sure can download the full set of cue cards for a language. I have been hearing a lot about this, great for learning vocabulary!

Perhaps not the best way to learn a language but it's good fun.

I would like to see conjugations added.
