About Anesthesia Emergency

A simple application to quickly reference common intraoperative anesthetic emergencies. Emergency algorithms and cognitive aids are included for: ACLS, malignant hyperthermia, anaphylaxis, air embolism, local anesthetic toxicity, bronchospasm, pneumothorax, high spinal, hypoxia, and hypotension. Also includes actions and broad differential for hypotension Latest resources used as noted in the "about" section. Future versions to add: high airway pressure, hemorrhage, hyperkalemia, and others.

This application is meant as a cognitive aid and resource for those in the medical profession and anesthesiology in particular at all levels including anesthesiologists, anaesthetists, nurses, and students. While every effort has been made to keep current and accurate the information in this app, it is ultimately the responsibility of the user to ensure the accuracy of any information here before using for patient care.
