I was looking for a fish eye lens but this is more like a telescope.

Very smart design, excellent very comfortable control buttons, best magnifier app in android market. Thank you Andrew! No annoying adds! Only one cons: zoom bar is too thin and hardly visible by vision impaired people, would be better to make it bigger with ability to hide in options. Though, it's not a big problem as you can zoom in and out by pinch gesture. Overall, excellent app, don't hesitate to download.

Tried many of the similar apps but all were just waste of time. This one is just what I was looking for. Great work by the developers.

The very best out there

Most of the magnifier apps around here have some kind of fatal flaw. Usually the ones which actually work have ads which cannot be removed by purchasing a key or "pro" version. The ones that can, have some other problem... like not being able to turn the light on. Yet another works more or less okay, but doesn't let the viewing area become larger in the ad-free/paid version... it just leaves gray the area where the ads were... big waste of screen. Others think it's cool to look like a round magnifying glass. Ugh. Others zoom digitally (simply enlarging the pixels), not optically. Others have weirdly-placed or dysfunctional controls. After trying about 12 of 'em, I was ready to scream! But I persevered, and along about 200 apps into my search on the word "magnifier," I stumbled onto this hidden, unassuming little gem! It actually works! No ads. Full screen. Good optical zooming, good focus, the light works. CONS: There aren't any anymore. There were only two or three, all very minor; and the app's developer fixed them just hours after I mentioned them, here. It was unbelievable! Definitely choose this app! I'm now prepared to call it "best-of-breed". Very nice.

Just what I was looking for to read small print. Works great on my Samsung Charge.
