CAA for Android
Didn't work. Asked for a lot of permissions that you wouldn't think it needs (camera, storage, location, etc) so I disabled them. When I enter my CAA number, it complains that I'm not connected to the internet (which I am).
Never works. Crashes every time I try to request assistance.
Antivirus AVG Pro has flagged this app as intrusive malware .
Functionality is ok but I can't upate account info or get any quotes with the app. I can't input any thing be it text or from drop downs. I am using an LG G5
Tried to add my card number and it tells me that because I'm a Niagara area memberI cannot make an account to use the full features of the app
Space to type password obscured by keyboard. Could not find way around it.
I can't even set it up. It insists on an email address and will accept no email address I give it.
Takes minutes for the menu to load. I never saw it working. I just called them. It was faster.
Is this app supposed to work ever? I've tried many times to log in, what's the point?
AVG anti-virus flags this app as potentially harmful. Following AVG recommendation to remove.
Takes forever to log in. Times out repeatedly. Doesn't recognize my postal code most of the time. Surprised st how bad it is!
What kind of an engineering team do you guys have? I can't begin to think how you guys can roll out this service is production. What a mess!
Unable to open CAA tracker to monitor a service request previously made online. Can't even do this from their website. Not well thought out.
Could not log in at all. Spent 20 minutes trying and read the reviews and finally figured out everyone else has the same issue
Unable to submit an assistance request the 3 times I've tried since installing the app a year ago. I'm assuming it never works. CAA doesn't care
Brutal functionality. Glitches right from the sign in page. What a waste of time
The GPS tracking is great! Unfortunately you can only use it if you request service through the app. Hopefully they update so that the app can track updates on service requests made by phone.
Weak performance. Some potential. Lots more room to have this app put through a Customer focused QA team.
Haven't been able to set up a new account, even as a CAA member. I see I'm not the only one complaining about this app. CAA, you need to do a better job with this app.

App is absolutely riddled with bugs and hang ups.. zero connectivity on any network..doesn't even attempt to use any network connectivity..it's a dead app.
I can't get past the login screen. It insists that I agree to the terms of service, but nowhere do I get the option to accept the terms. .
One of the worst apps on my entire phone. Rarely ever works, pages time out, gives lots of errors, randomly logs me out all the time, push notifications result in error pages when clicked to open the app, confusing GUI. I've honestly never once been able to accomplish a single thing in the app and I've had it on my phone for over half a year now. Hoping their road side assistance is higher quality than this app, should I ever need to use it! Shouldn't be that hard to make a useful app for your large customer base!
Awful app almost as hard to use as their phone services. CAA is lucky they have no real competition or they would be out of business in a heartbeat. Phone staff that are impossible to reach, and an app that barley even loads, let alone "tracks your driver".
Wait, wait, wait and wait......I almost got in once, or at least I think that it was close. Many attempts in different phones, with both internet and data, on different days, during different times, I've never been able to even just sign in. Of course, in the future, if I'm broke down in the country, and I want to see the confirmation of the CAA arrival, nothing will work. Oh well, maybe one day I will be able to sign in!
So glitchy. Eg. Try typing in phone number and random numbers appear. Every stage was a struggle and I finally gave up. Saying this, my wife downloaded the app and had it working in 5 minutes. Once logged in seemed like a powerful tool but I'll never know on my phone
Failed to work. Kept asking me to sign in after signing in. I have saved trips that could not be accessed because it kept asking me to sign in. Eventually the app failed and said it could not connect. I had the app for 10 minutes before deleting.
It says my device can't connect to the network. I have yet yo be able to even try the app as it won't let me get past the membership number then that comes up!
Hey. This is a good idea, but horribly done. Why not just have a list of rewards partners not tied to a map? Because this feature is the only thing I'm interested in and it does not work. ( need to zoom in to create a list but when you zoom in too much the points on the map disappear. You guys give out a flyer with just a few of your partnerships and direct ppl to use the app to find others ( which you don't advertise well enough) and the app doesn't work. Are they secret rewards partnerships? No.
CAA is just about the worst App I've ever had! Never works, never offers you a way to stay logged in, and is never there for me when I need it, I always have to call in!
Flags a CAA Plus (620 288) member number as invalid will only validate basic member number (620 282). Useless
I can't log in...and I have even sent emails. Response on emails has not been helpful
Useless app. Can't waste any more of my energies on this app. CAA spend money and get some better software engineers to get your app working.
I am a CAA PLUS member in North & East Ontario and after REPEATED attempts to log on and a call to CAA who admitted there was a postal code "issue" I GIVE UP. This app is JUNK
I have never once been able to complete the task or get the info/quote i wanted from app. Clearly not priority for CAA. Disappointed.
This app is still suffering from a lot of issues. Just logging in with my membership information took 20 minutes (and I knew what it was) - would just fail on incorrect login but remain on login screen when correct information was entered. Definitely needs more QA and focus on the most important workflow, which is requesting assistance!
Takes forever to log in. Would be great if you could tap the icon and your membership card would come up similar to air miles. Trying to get the number to use discount is too long and frustrating. KISS
Trying to login, stares something is invalid. Attempt to create new login from app tells me number is invalid meanwhile I have an account online and receive services. You need a proper developer and some real QA on this app. This was a relaunch...good luck.
Come on CAA.... really!?! Thinking your developers missed something MAJOR, like restricting this app to not open when you're not in data service!! There's no reason you shouldn't be able to get your card number regardless of poor (or no) data service.
