Touchsquid GR PRO Remote

Super app. Have not found anything it will not operate. Support is quick and dedicated. Since we found this app and use it with irtrans it has been more then worth the money.

paid for pro, cant get the app to work with Sony smart tv over network. It appears as if the application is no longer supported. I emailed twice for help with no response. Id like a refund.

Worked great on older Samsung tab, no go on LG V20. From TS themselves LG uses proprietary IR drivers sometimes diff from device to device and they can't write for all devices. Bummer!

Never finds model shows error on everything. Waste of a lot of money.

Can't set favorite channels that have 3 numbers without getting an error message

I have had this app for over a year now and have changed it multiple times and configured macros. I HAD a harmony remote but that p.o.s. was always needing fixed. Great app and the service is top notch!

This was a great app until it stopped recognizing my infrared on android 5.1.1, I wish they would update it considering how much I paid for it

I have purchased 2 of these apps for 2 different mobiles. At first I was very very pleased with the awesome support but now it has become a 1 man operation and after trying to contact support, finally after 2 weeks was contacted by Jason who explained that he is behind due to travel and being a 1 man show. I have now sent another email to him 3 days ago and still no response. This is really a great app but now support is basically nonexistent. I would pass on it until Jason has the time and ability to offer support. I will remove this from my devices and try to find a new app. I am very disappointed Jason. Good Luck in the future. Wish I could get my money refunded but with no support what can you do ? Kevin

I had trouble getting this to work with several devices. Then I found the "Alternate IR" setting in the advanced settings. I'm using a Note4 and that one setting got everything working. Once I figured out how to A) get it working and B) customize remote screens AND the screens for Activities... well... that was it for me. I bought the PRO version. This could, conceivably, replace an extremely good (but VERY expensive) universal remote. I'll know more and will review again after I've tinkered with the PRO version for a while... 4 stars only because I haven't found if/then/else macros and it doesn't seem to track states (like... is the AV receiver already on?), but if it does all the things I think it does... I'll come back and up that rating. To edit the buttons in an Activity, touch the "Squid Eye". Changed rating to 5 stars. I'm not sure it would replace my $450 universal remote, but, wow.... this does a LOT!

Without a doubt the best IR remote app out there. Easy to set up, and operate. Database seems to have every IR controllable device in it.

Can't seem to get it to work with multiple devices. I can control individual devices. But, I can't seem to get multiple device control or access an 'activity' after I create one

This only the second time I have felt compelled to rate or compliment on an app. This is by far the best and most used app I have. If only I could use it to control my day. Costumer service is impeccable. Thank you for this app and your care for customers.

I had already purchased the other remote and it still charged me, what should I do

Its a great product that keeps improving...I use it for all my flat screens, dvr, dvd players..and I even use it at work..I use with my Galaxy Note 10.1 the first version and it hasn't failed yet..use to be able to control my A/C unit but they took that out..too bad..still a great product

Held out for a nice universal remote and ended up with a SUPER home theater controller!! I bought a Samsung Tab 2 7.0 for this app and couldn't be more pleased. Fairly simple to program once you follow tutorials, and when I had questions the support staff was very quick to respond with answers the same day ( usually within an hour or so ---- amazing!! ). Beautiful interface and you can customize the look of your screen(s) to suit your tastes. For the price of the Tab and this App it was still less $$$ than some of the remotes I was looking at. And this App beats them hands down.

What a fantastic app, and even better support. Even before I had purchased the full version the developer got straight back to me with device updates and help working out how to get my tv switched on correctly. The app worked a treat on my TF101 and my cheap chinese 7" tablet that will replace my harmony 1000 and paired to keene kira128 wifi2ir box (good for uk based people who don't want to import either global tach or irtans devices) means I don't need a built in ir blaster.

Even more excellent support and info from the guys, which makes purchase well worth it.

I am throwing away my handheld (starts with a U) $500 remote in favor of TouchSquid Pro. Everything works as advertised. Set up was easy and intuitive especially compared to other professional remote controls. Nice to have would be an ir capture for the rare device that is not in the library.

Awesome. This the best all round remote I have used. Bit of a learning curve to start with but then extremely configurable. I use in conjunction with the wf2ir unit from global cache.Active Dev. Wife friendly.

I am an IT Admin by trade and love my gadgets. Because of that I've acquired 6+ remotes. To rid myself of all those remotes I started searching in Google Play and came across this app. One thing that stood out immediately was the quick responses from the coders. I decided to purchase TS GR PRO. I've been using this app for 4 months now. I am more than happy with my decision. I've programed my Samsung S4 and Samsung Tablet. My 6 year old can operate this app. Fantastic guys! Keep up the good work.

Great app and support! I just wish the changelog is easily accessible from here.

TS is as reponsive and proactive as they always have been. I found out its a 2-person company and one is on vacation. How they keep it going and this successful is beyond me. But the ONLY reason I rated this as 4 stars is because the new UI does not work well on my Note 3 when I am trying to edit the Watch TV mode. Don't be mistaken by my 4 stars. The UI works for most, and this is certainly a 5 star app for everyone else.

I come from a Logitech Harmony background, TS is a whole lot easier to configure and of course has much more screen real estate on a tablet. I also considered MyURemote, Smart IR Remote and IRule but all things considered TS wins on functionality and 1st class support. I have quite a few custom requirements as I have quite a complex dual amp multimedia setup but TS support got everything working very quickly, probably the best support I've experienced from any product, solutions and software updates are typically available within hours of sending an email, highly recommended!

This app is awesome! I only. wish I could share it with my wife, without having to pay again or sign on to her phone. Update!!!! As of the last update the app is no longer working it just freeze as soon as it starts, I'm sure this will get fixed or it may even be just my Galaxy Note 3 even though it was working fine before the update. Update!!!! Two days after the writing of this issue, I was contacted by customer support and the problem has been resolved and I'm up and running again.. That's service!

Developer is very responsive and willing to create code for specific situations. I recently purchased a DirecTV system with Genie clients. A new release is pending and I will have ability to use IP to control both Genie and remote clients. I also have 4 rooms setup with HDMI matrix switch and audio and other video components. I use a GC Tach for all 4 rooms with extra wired IR senders where needed. Trying to get more and more on IP control. This was all setup within a weekend. Macros allow ultimate flexibility to create custom activities. Great product and far exceeded my expectations.

It is confusing to setup this app. The main problem is that the database does not contain specific model numbers of home theater components, so trial and error is required to obtain the correct infrared codes. Howe ver, the trial and error process is simple, so replacing components is fast. Overall, the app is a good value.

I have a Global Cache WF2IR with Veralite. It works fine w Veralite but did not have nice interface like this app. I tried this app for few days. It kept on freezing up on me constantly and required me to to restart app. Although UI is nice, only few buttons worked. I need a reliable responsive app. I've sent emails to support but no response yet. Please refund me and I can remove this review.

Without a question the best universal remote for tablet or phone I've tried many apps and nothing else comes close. Obviously a lot of thought and time went into this app . Also the support is fantastic.

The developer is responsive and helpful. I requested IP control for my TiVo and they promptly implemented it. Works great with my Global Cache IR blaster and their device catalog is extensive. If you want a universal remote that you can customize, this is the app for you. Goodbye Logitech Harmony, hello TouchSquid!

5 star remote, thanks for the option to turn off button clicks, I own a harmony 1100 also, but this app with wf2ir beats that remote.

Quick updates and bug fixes. It works flawlessly, but I still want more user modification options and button choices for the main remote screen.

I really like this app. The only thing missing is a home screen widget for controlling the most used buttons.
