As a resident of Flintshire (and tax payer!) I think this is an excellent initiative and the council should be commended for it. I hope they build on this excellent start and incorporate further features e.g. to be able to report the exact location of blocked drainage grills, mal-functioning street lights or street signs in need of repair etc.

Perhaps Flintshire County Council should concentrate on ensuring that there are designated dog bins and making sure that they are emptied regularly instead of waiting to be informed of an overflow.Whole idea is based on being reactive instead of proactive. Perhaps a series of preventive measures to tackle the problem of dog fouling in the first place would be a better idea than this obvious gimmick
