Not a good app for a Nexus 7, Wifi capable only, in a house where GPS can't work. If I go outside where the GPS will locate, the Wifi won't work. This app should have a manual locate capability. Uninstalling.

K70%
by K####:

The category rankings are wrong. A hurricane with 130 mph is a category 4. This software calls it a 3. Also, storms that no longer exist are still on the global grid and aren't moving. If it was more accurate and had bugs fixed, this would be a helpful program.

K70%
by K####:

App won't react most of the time when clicking storm points. The Red Cross app is far better.

B70%
by B####:

1. Status bar stuck enable Google location service even if on. 2. No exit. No way to close app. 3. Email alert sign up dies nothing. Some error message that can't be read. 4. No cone in tracking screen. 5. Graphics screen hangs.

INVEST 99L not shown accurately on map,, if it is there it's not labeled and is hundreds of miles out of place...

I purchase a subscription for the software version so I should be able to have an ad-free app please! And the other missing features please!!

Am staying south of Cancun and currently using the app to watch as Ernesto is getting closer. This app is really useful to see the hurricanes predicted path and view satellite images.

E70%
by E####:

Not that great if you live in the pacific or around it. Good images for the east side of America and the mexico gulf coast and north west of Africa.

Awesome app. It has all of the Atlantic satellite sectors plus floaters. NHC discussions and more. It would be great if you included the Tallahassee, FL radar site to view impacts in the panhandle. There's a gap between Tampa, FL and Mobile, AL.

Im in india and it is showing me weather of america. Location tracking problem is here.plz fix it

The app can also show all the hurricanes in different parts of tge world (eg. Australia, Indian Ocean, or SE Asia)

Exactly what you would be expecting from Accuweather Hurricane Center... except that they have no such App. As for accuracy's it's the same as any such information, nobody knows where the hurricane is going to end up. So keep your eyes open!

K70%
by K####:

Due to lack of data in square block pattern. Rest is fine.

Was working great but quit today. Gets hung up trying to load and then says there are no storms.

Tracking is available for pacific hurricanes but all discussions, maps, and other data is Atlantic only. Need Pacific data as well.

Ummm we have a hurricane headed right for the Hawaiian Islands. It's 400 miles out and it's not shown up on your app for the last 24 hours. So it's not very helpful now is it? NOW, it's showing the hurricane hitting us but not the hurricane that is 1000 miles behind this one. ??? REALLY

In The Pacific here was Active Hurricane Newton in Orlene Paine to was Actives no war now today November 6. Of the Hurricane Seymour not was today whre was active on 28 October was removed for next name Tina ,

Great tool to help stay prepared in south florida love the global satellite map. I can start looking for the rapid storms that start shooting off of the african coast that's when you know mother nature is getting serious. I then start looking at local reports & flhurricane

I believe it used to show radar. Also when zooming the storm track symbols do not get larger and are hard to tell difference between types of storms (except when it turns red). Good but not great program anymore.

K70%

This is a great "at a glance" tool for checking on the latest threats. I do wish it plotted invest storms though. Sometimes its nice to know distance to invest systems since they can spin up at the last moment.

E70%
by E####:

It has nice maps but the hurricane tracks use three colors, red, green and yellow without a legend to identify the meaning of the different colors. I could guess what they mean but I could be wrong and therefore completely misinterpret the graph. This is a serious usability issue that hopefully the developer will correct soon

Seems to crash quite a bit. The icons at the top are extremely tiny and hard to see. PROS: Really nice ocean map, good info.

W70%

While others seemed to use this app successfully, it seemed stuck with no updates. Since I live in Hawaii & need to track hurricanes heading toward Hawaii, it is frustrating to find no information regarding local hurricanes.

I've used this software on my home computer for years & am happy to now have it on my phone. Works great & keeps me up to date.

M70%

Doesn't crack into my address book or my personal photos, yet still provides hurricane tracking. Exactly what I wanted.

D70%
by D####:

....used the software to monitor and track Hurricane Katrina and I am still impressed by the ease of installation and use, graphics and street level satellite views. The information was spot on and allowed me to warn relatives in the New Orleans area well ahead of the evacuation orders issued by local authorities... I have recommended to friends in the New Orleans area and they still use it.

Y70%

There is no information for those of us who sit on a group of islands in the middle of the Pacific. The information is available from all the same sources. So why not incorporate it?

Y70%
by Y####:

This app seems to provide me with everything I need. Someone might want to fix the spelling of the word "history" on one of the menus. When I see sloppiness like this, I sometimes wonder how much thought went into the rest to the application.

If you live in the Bowling ally of Destruction. It's a must have app. GPS would be nice.

Y70%

Comprehensive, detailed, up to date, and extremely detailed. Has so many features and maps, that I feel like I could be a meteorologist.

There are a lot better apps out there don't waist your time.

Just what I need. I live on the gulf coast smack in the center of predicted landfall for Isaac. App came right up and loaded the tracking. I can do with the ads. Very minimal. Great job. Not paying 3 bucks for the pro but if it was a buck I would. Looks great on a tablet.

Y70%
by Y####:

I'm not sure what value this app provides for tracking a storm as it's inaccurate. It shows the hurricane's location 4 or 5 hours behind. Such apps MUST be accurate.

A70%
by A####:

Much the same as the PC version, but where is the national radar mosaic I'm used to?

Y70%
by Y####:

I've used this app on my home computer for years and have been very happy with it. I like the idea of being able to use it on my phone. I don't like that it stays on my task bar on the phone after closing the app.

Y70%

Just saw local Tampa weather and have been alerted to watch Tropical Storm Isaac. No mention on this app. Iphone hurricane app by Kitty had selectable list of developing storms, spaghetti charts, detailed history of storms by year going back nearly 100 years, and much more. If this is available on pro version, can't tell by its description. Much improvement needed before it's deemed useful or reliable.

Y70%
by Y####:

Has everything you need. The past track and official forecast track from NHC on google maps as well as satellite imagery and a spaghetti plot of the model data for active storms. Nice to have on your phone if you're a tropical junkie.

Y70%
by Y####:

Use it to make contigency plans for self and customers in projected path of tropical systems.

Y70%
by Y####:

Twice it has told me there are no active storms while I'm under a hurricane warning for Issac... Deleting now!

Y70%
by Y####:

Works great...love the detailed maps...would pay if cheaper...also a few maps don't load but most do and its all I need to help make informed decisions living on the coast...
