About Wifi Widget
This widget will tell you to which Wi-Fi network you're connected to, including details like Channel, Signal, IP (internal + external), MAC (BSSID), NEW! the vendor / manufacturer of the AP the device is connected to
(by MAC OUI - requires internet connection), also, support for dual band deviceds (2.4Ghz, and 5Ghz).
PLEASE NOTE: this is a widget application! you need to add it on the widgets menu, it won't appear on your menu.

This tool comes in very handy when you want to make sure that you're connected to a specific AP.
Please note! this application does not drain your battery!
It only uses events from the systems (that's why the signal level indicator only updates once in a while).
It has two modes:
1. showing the information in large font.
2. showing extended data in smaller font.
Tap on the widget to switch between modes, when the device is connected to an AP.

Keeps saying that I'm disconnected while I'm still online. Usually happens when I don't use the phone for a while. Another problem is that the lower line of text is cut off and looks bad. Needs work. Uninstalling for now.

I like having the widget telling me that I'm connected, to what network and at what speed. But today I turned off my router and the widget still gave me the same information. It should have known I was disconnected. How can I trust that I'm connected when it made such a big mistake?

Incorrect channel shown as ch1. It should be ch 36. I have dual band router 2.4GHz and 5GHz using the same SSID.

Needs work. Wi-Fi channel always says 1, no matter if correct., says disconnected when not, needs work.

The speed line on the bottom is cut off. My font size is set to large. There are two larger font sizes available so large isn't that big.

Why does this require "Phone" permissions? Also, there is no option for a 1x1 widget, just a space inefficient 2x1 widget. Moreover, touching the widget only toggles its font size, and doesn't actually take me to Wifi options as would be expected.

Upgrading to 5.1 on Nexus 6 caused it to break, reporting max speed of only 54mb max. Thank you to the developer for a great product. If your using 5.0 or lower should work great for you.

Pro version worked fine on my Nexus 6p until 7.1. Using Oreo for the first time today and no data is displayed. Any chance of an update? Updated, thanks, but now ssid fails to display on android 8.1. Remaining details display ok.
