AutomateIt Pro - Easy task automation for Android

Appalling tech support! Sent a debug report with problem description 4 months ago and no reply!? Have been using it for a long time and thought of it to be an excellent app until it developed a problem of triggering alarming sound on each rule trigger which is impossible to stop. Purchased version.

Love you devs. Love this app. Using it for couple years. Please add support for tizen watches. When one has 30+rules, it can get quite confusing and unorganized to find the right rule. Maybe a colour customization/grouping option to categorize our rules? Thanks!

I have the paid version. By and large works OK. But definitely not foolproof. I use it to play chimes every hour. Often does not play the entire tune but barely for a second or so. Also the screen on off Plugin does not work on either Note 4 or on Asus Laser 2. So have to trigger a regular screen on off app which sort of defeats the purpose of using AutomateIt in the first place! Closes in the background for Nougat. So none of the rules work. Rules execute only if the app is in the foreground. There most certainly is scope for a LOT of improvement. Till then 3 stars.

A great app all around! Small request: How about Phillips Hue integration? IFTT has it, but it is not as detailed as your app.

This is a great app. It allows you to do some things beyond the default capabilities. I have a suggestion for an added feature though: allow testing of rules by bypassing the trigger.

App worked great on my galaxy s5 but does not work consistently on my galaxy s7. I often have to restart the app. What's up?

Previous versions worked well, but now rules fire only rarely. The rules market is also not working. No response from support.

Works well with time triggered rules. But doesn't work at all with SMS text triggered rules.

App does not support DUAL SIM for send SMS actions. It sent msg via 2nd sim. So I got SMS fee. :( I expect a lot of DUAL SIM features.

Liked the free version, but the pro version made it useless. Contacted developer, but got no reply.

Good App for Tasks.

The free version works great, so I bought the pro version. The very simplest of actions will not work. VERY disappointed. My rule will not dim the screen even when it says the rule is active. Do I need to give the app more permissions? How?

Please add the option to sync with my Gmail through Google Play Services so I don't have to use Dropbox. Please add the action of being able to disable data, toggle data on/off, or turn data on and the same goes for location so we can find our devices. Also the same for Airplane mode being an action

I think it screwed up the my ringing of my phone had to reset my phone and I Rolled back to old version it don't hit my GPS behind my back like the latest version does. ????

The wifi does twice the trigger about Bluetooth conect. I'm using the Zuk z2 non root Smartphone In the indian stock rom but it takes a lot of Energy, using nougat rom

I use this app for a long time but there is one small thing that annoys me a lot. I have this rule to rotate the device whenever​ YouTube is open but it activates everytime I get a notification. I didn't open the app but still rotates my device. Very irritating. Besides that, everything is ok.

I agree the free version had no bugs. Tried it for a week and it was great. The paid version however doesn't keep sync with my GPS and it bounces in and out. Uninstalled put free back on and started working great again. Needs fixing

I tested the free version and all the features I needed worked well. I've upgraded to the pro version to support this work. My old favorite solution became abandonware, so I needed something new. Thanks for a great product!

It works well for the most part. But I gave up on location. It keeps executing when it's not supposed to.

The interface and logic is good, but the battery drain for even time specific rules is insane.

Is it possible to watch for calendar events in the Outlook mobile client rather than just Google calendar?

We could have the option to open a document through a shortcut on the main screen.

Gutted.... Bought this thinking it would enable my wifi hotspot when the car bluetooth connected to my phone. It didnt work... The task runs when the bluetooth connects to the car but it dosnt enable the Wifi Hot Spot. No errors, no error logs that I could find, it just dosnt work. :( Great concept.... just needs some work i guess.

Samsung 3G. Been using this app over 2 years. Never had a problem and simple to set up and use. UPDATE: 12/5/2016. Currently using on Droid Turbo 2 and still working great.
