Skype - free IM & video calls

It would be great if you change chatting for mobile for android. With camera we cannot chat. If you improve and let us chatting with camera on phone android it will be wonderful. I think a lot of skype users has this problem. When we make video call we have choose either chatting or video on screen. On computer we can see both of them on screen at the same time. But on phone we cannot. I wish you improve skype and make is as on computer

u see people using skype in movies and tv shows wherein it looks great and has quality sound etc. well in real life skype has sucked and is sucking more with every update since the microsoft takeover and msn messenger integration. use hangouts or discord or anything else for better voip chat

Latest version as at today has a MAJOR bug. Of course, this is stupid as fluck MS so is to be expected. It now seems they have stopped testing the app before upgrading it. BUG: No incoming calls and messages are notified. That's right.. a very important call is incoming from a landline or mobile (to your Skype no.), or from Skype, and you won't know about it. MS is a joke. I hope those incompetent jackass fools who do this repeatedly die a slow painful death from Bone Cancer.

You guys ask for feedback if we add any requirement n we won't get any reply, from past few months asking for biometric lock n till date haven't received 1 single response from your side... It's waste of my time giving you feedback...

Without TV video calling support, I find this app pretty useless. For other calls, we have lots of options like imo, whatsapp etc. Only interesting thing of this app was TV video calling, which no longer exist. I uses that for my parents who are not very good at these technologies for a handsfree video chatting on TV.

Skype is a great way to stay in touch with your friends! But be careful.. Don't add people you don't know because they might cause you harm. You might get Random requests so if that happens say NO. BTW you can only share screens on computer. Still very good but if you are away from it for ALONG time it will erase you data, I know that because it happened to me.

This sucks. The call always pixelated and freezes and start after 5 min of talk it gets all static and you can't hear anything!!!!!!! This app doesn't work well at all and I would advise others to not download this app AT ALL. because I sure as hell am deleting it

Excellent, flawless audio calls. Big improvement since I gave up on it 6 months ago (was too unstable at that time). Happy I did try it again, as my audio calls are actually enjoyable again. Crystal clear, even on a sometimes sluggish home network. Might give Skype video another go as a result. Thank you!

During dialing a cell number without other party's phone rings skype is charging my credit as if call is placed. No need to steal my money. You are the biggest cheater. Why all american always hungry I cannot understand.

Skype is still crappy, but at least it's functional for the most part. However, the little drawer thing that contains quick access to its emojis and whatever those other emoji things are Will Not Open.

Doesn't work on my nexus 6p. Just says account not recognised so pretty useless. Googling shows lots of people with the same problem but no support from Skype/MS and no plans to fix the issue.

For some reason in this version of skype, when there is a bluetooth headset connected to the phone, it will not allow you to talk over the bluetooth connection. Previous older version of skype did not have this issue.

The app keeps crashing and logging me out automatically. Also, I can't recieve calls without the app being ​open on my screen. Finally, I'm not receiving notifications, but, when I get them it's about a message I received 1-3 days ago from when I get it.

This time it is the worst update....other side video is invisible. Prior to last version was better. But last 2 version is the worst. Pleas either fix it or we should remove.

Doesn't accept calls if the app is close and even if it is running in the background. You have to keep the app open and wait for someone to call you. Nonsense!

I have purchased credits to call from UAE to India. And I see skype sucks. Network is full internet is perfect then why no connecting to calls. Earlier I just used skype for S2S calling then why the problem is occurred when I purchased credits and activate a plan for calling. Fix it skype plzz.

I am using just basic functions of calling, but I am using it for long time and it works very well. The thing is that you need a strong phone and fast net. With that this is excellent app.

I am trying to connect to my family but from 30 of march it shows me no internet connection . Although ny internet us connected well .it is not showing my friendlist online . Please fix this as soon as possible

Awesome app for voice and video calls... Compared to most other such apps, Skype has top-notch sound quality even in poor network connectivity situations.

The issue with calling others is still not working. The sound keeps going out on the other end. My friends can't hear me and this recent update did nothing to fix it.

It works at least as well as Windows and Linux versions but the user interface makes it difficult to do simple things like echo test (doesn't accept calls), custom sounds (per-contact custom audio ringtones) and quit (no option for it), that are much easier with the non-android clients. At least part of this might be attributed to my inexperience with android methods (hopefully google searches will help). That aside though, it's a must-have app for android!

New update is garbage Can only send sms. No video or audio calls connect. They all fail

I'm saying this sucks because it keeps telling me that I can't log in. I write the name and password correct, have functioning Internet, and all of that other crap, but it just refuses to work.

Paying for a subscription, still I cannot make a call... Never connects, always fails. Reoccurring issue...

Audio and video could use some work. Audio will sometimes come out squeaky and scrambled. Sometimes video won't work. Tested it out and the phone I use has a perfect mic. It's just the app.

Why very hard to dead active my account. I know I have to wait for some period days

Video call and audio call keep freezing and suddenly it's gonna hang and then call failed so please fix this issue as soon as possible and please fix the video calling cuz it's freezing again n again

My phone wont ring when my boyfriend tries to call me. This issue needs to be fixed.. It kinda defeats the purpose of the whole app.

The video calling portion of this app doesn't work anymore. It constantly says call failed you only receive the notification but never the actual call. Fix It!!!!!

Would definitely love to see night mode option come to skype. I think a dark gray background against white and skype blue would look fantastic. It will also be easier on the eyes at night

Lots of Skype Number calls fail and voicemails lock up the app. Have to force close app to resume use and have to use a PC to listen to voicemails.

The Skype app size have gotten bigger. Thankfully it can be moved to the SD Card. More importantly, its still easy to use and works great.

I keep getting the lame error: "unable to sign in". It lets me sign in via chrome, but the app (even after updating/restarting phone) still gives the error and blank white screen after selecting OK.

It's good but since the updates they can hear me but i can't hear them. And all my studio settings are correct and so are theirs. After it's fixed I'll rate it higher.

Skype is the best internet call app. Audio and video quality is just amazing. I fell in love with it right from day 1

Amazing I can talk to millions of people at a time and if u have a job then it's easy to talk to everyone I love it and recommend it.
